For my story I picked CDOT rolls out its I-70 winter plan. In this article they talk about the snow plows and ice melters being more prepared for winter this upcoming snowy season. This matters to me because I am an avid snowboarder. As soon as the snow hits the ground I am ready to tear up the slopes. I hope that CDOT can be prepared for what winter throws at them because I know how un-safe the roads can be during an ice storm or a blinding blizzard, and I have had friends who have been hurt in car accidents on there way to a fun weekend in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. However, they’re not so beautiful when you get in a head on collision with another car.
